It looks like COLLECTORS CHOICE's customer survice department is down until May 1st. Anyone wanting to make an inquiry about the CD glitch on EASTWICK can write the company about it, here> mcatalog@ccmusic.com

If enough people write in I'm sure that they will address the bigger issue of replacing deffective copies of the CD.

Recieved the following reply back from COLLECTOR's CHOICE MUSIC.

Unfortunately, we have received a few e-mails regarding this, and we want our customers happy. We are going to ask our warehouse to check on this, and if in fact it is damaged and not supposed to have that sound in there, we will ask the manufacturer to send us a new shipment so we can replace this. Thank you again for your patience.

Hopefully this matter will resolve it's self. I'd hate to haft'a show up on their doorstep with my ugly stick clutched in my greasy film score collecting fist.

I confirm there is a serious sound problem on track 3 of the CD.
I emailed them 4 times and this is what they finally answered :

Thank you for contacting Collectors' Choice Music!
In regards to your e-mail, if you didn't order this on our site, we cannot replace the item. We do
carry the item and you can place an order with us.

So there is no way to have a replaced CD for me or to be refunded, because I bought this CD (new and sealed) on ebay. They only ask me to buy a second CD. I have to pay twice the price because of their error.

Now I even read here that they won't correct the error on the CD, and won't repress it. So they're actually asking me as a solution to the problem to buy another defective CD !

I'm warning you here, this is not a serious company...

I believe the release date has been delayed again because screen archives lists the release for 6/27. I ordered from them and maybe their CDs won't have the error anymore.

But that's certainly no good customer service from collector's choice. If they produced faulty material, it is their duty as a business to correct it.

I would certainly pick up Witches of Eastwick on CD, but not with a production glitch like that. I wait and see when -- if at all -- it gets cleared.
