Okay, very short vent here.
I completely despise the packaging for the Desplat score. It's incredibly difficult at not scratching the discs when slipping the CDs in or out of the sleeves. So cheap.

Also, I really must say, I adore this score. I thought Desplat did a remarkable job for creating an underlying experience in the film. However, the CD doesn't seem to "pop" out at me; I really wish the mastering or recording (depending on which may be at fault) of this beautiful score was pushed to a higher limit on disc. It just sounds a bit muted in frequency. Other than that, I salute the team behind this composition. It's one of my favorite scores of the last few years. |

My copy of Benjamin Button has a curious packaging as well, but it is a jewel case. Actually, it is called "", as I've just learnt. The only other cd I have with this kind of jewel case is Stardust. Both were bought in the UK so chances are they're only available there. |

They are usually used for SACDs, but Universal has been using them on normal CDs as well. |
