Is the main theme available on cd, if so what cd? Also, did he just do the theme, or did he score some episodes too? Thanks in advance. |

Henry, Silva Screen's 4-disc anthology JERRY GOLDSMITH 40 YEARS OF FILM MUSIC (SILCD1183) contains an extended, 3:56 arrangement of the WALTONS theme, as well as the same TV-themes medley which appears in the harder-to-find SUITES AND THEMES album. And as you might guess -- being such a fresh Goldsmith convert -- his music for those few personally-scored episodes tends to be wonderful. |

The TV Medley (extended compared to the other CD, IIRC) is also on the Telarc disc of Goldsmith music. |
