A blind buy for me, as I havent heard it or seen the movie either, so it will be exciting to get it. First I was going to wait and see, but when the stock got lower and lower, I had to get it  Now I must search for the movie too (have seen some variation of that Poe novel, but not this I think) |

My copy arrived yesterday, and what a treat. I watched the movie on Netflix before listening and it really is a great film. I love the poster on the inside of the CD tray: CERT "X" for adults only! I guess back in 1960 that was a film deserving of an X rating!?! The liner notes were very nice as well, all except for the part where Mr. Baxter is quoted as saying "Of the 100 or more films I have scored, only a handful of the original tapes have survived." What an absolute travesty! Thanks a million to Intrada for releasing this gem. |

Hi hamsters, I received my copy of House Of Usher, a day earlier than usual, brilliant! Many thanks, you guys can't be beat for super fast processing and dispatch of orders! I never thought I'd have this soundtrack in my possession(!) I'm really enjoying the listening experience, super booklet and notes, top class all around! Well done again everybody!

I am absolutely loving this release! Very nice jobs, guys. Bring forth as much Baxter as you possibly can.  By the way, I was looking at the bottom of the disc and couldn't help but notice the coffee-colored tone to the data-side of the disc; it's just a tad-bit darker than other releases. Did you guys go without another manufacturer? Thanks again! |
