Over on the FSM board someone called attention to the latest addition to Chandos' film music collection, none other than a disc devoted to the music of Brian Easdale! Represented is music from "The Red Shoes" (obviously), "Battle of the River Plate", "Gone to Earth", "Black Narcissus", as well as a clutch of less well-known but equally interesting films. As long as I can remember, the scuttlebutt has had it that those controlling Brian Easdale's estate have been singularly uncooperative toward endeavors such as this. Obviously something has changed for the better!
