TheOzMan No, you're not alone  I have bought multiple versions of Ennio Morricone scores and not always with the excuse of extra tracks being added. Too many doubles to list, 3 each of BATTLE OF ALGIERS, CALIFFA, VIOLENT CITY, INVESTIGATION OF A CITIZEN, MY NAME IS NOBODY etc. It gets more ridiculous with 4 different editions of GIU LA TESTA, NUOVO CINEMA PARADISO.

I personally never keep 2 original soundtracks containing the same music. I only keep the soundtrack with more music. If it's just the exact same re-release I don't buy it. For Star Wars, JAWS, E.T. etc, the different releases being completely different, the question is somewhat different. |
