Hi all, Congratulations on FIRST BLOOD. It set me thinking. Given Intrada's recent penchant for making definitive releases of several landmark Goldsmith scores, is there any chance of doing a finally complete and totally definitive THE OMEN? That, to me, has status equal to PATTON. And it doesn't seem to be available to order from Varese any more. And, being recorded in England, presumably it doesn't have the usual American union issues. Just sayin' ... ![]() Cheers |

I had mentioned earlier that a bunch of titles are no longer listed on Varese's site. I would think by now they would have their site updated with all the titles available. I wouldn't mind triple dipping for a complete comprehensive version of the Omen Trilogy. |

The dexlue of the first film, as I recall, has about five or six minutes of score missing. And this, of course, is not counting any score that may have been left out of the film, and any alternates. Theoretically we could have 55 to 60 minutes of score. |

I think the Final Conflict may be missing some music as well. |

Not to mention there's some good music missing from The Great Train Robbery and I'd love to see what Doug and team could do with the sound mix on that. Yavar |

Correct, Robert Townson even mentioned in the liner notes they had to leave a cue or two off for the SACD. |

There's actually a fair amount of music from THE OMEN film that didn't make it onto VS's Deluxe Edition, most notably Mrs. Blaylock showing up at the hospital just in time to help Lee Remmick out the window... |

Im ashamed to admit it,but despite being a HUGE Goldsmith fan,iv never had any release of this music.Never actually seen the movie proper mind(only bits and pieces on tv over the years).I should watch it in full some time soon if for any other reason than to hear in entirety, the score which won Jerry his only oscar(he should have won many more). |
