But, if you continue to read this, be forewarned that throughout this thread no where does the original poster ever resort to name calling as does the owner and operator of a certain CD label, not associated with Intrada.

I want to apologize, to Intrada and it's readers for discussing a certain topic, which is done on this board and especially in this section called "Soundtrack Discussions". Are we not allowed to discuss our concerns with different releases? So, I am now brain washed and every release is very welcome, even if it is a re-issue of a re-issue of a re-issue of a re-issue of a limited edition score! I welcome over priced box sets with 2 CDS of extra re-recording of the same song and a 50+ page book. I welcome limited box sets that over the next few years some of the scores will be release individually. I welcome 15 minute CDs. I welcome inserts with no liner notes. I welcome CDs with defects in the pressing and I love when there are noises on recording such as digital pops and clicks, someone talking, chairs sliding on the floor, musicians sneezing or other body noises. The list goes on, so hakuna matata!!

I voiced my opinion about a certain re-issue by a certain CD label and have cause that label's owner to have a problem with me and show his true colors, which shows me how he likes to represent his label.

Kritzerland has released, well I guess I should say re-issued 2 limited edition scores.

THE UNFORGIVEN and THE WAY WEST!

Unforgiven was originally released as part of the limited edition Film Score Monthly Western CD box set and The Way West was released as a limited edition CD by Intrada. Yes, both sold out relatively fast, but was the re-issue needed this fast? I hope Intrada and FSM look at what Kritzerland is doing and either up their pressing numbers (if they are allowed) or by pass on future MGM releases (but that would let Kritzerland have them).
I own both of the original limited editions and the sound is very good on both, so I will not be purchasing this release on Kritzerland. Evidently there are some people that missed out of these, so maybe it is a good thing to have the re-issue. Intrada has made it clear they are not interested in doing box sets, and with this latest Kritzerland release, I do not know if I will be buying anymore FSM box sets (well other than the ST-Ron Jones Set), knowing now that the chances of the scores being re-issued as single limited edition are more and more likely! Well, I guess box sets are not the only ones effected, since one of these was originally released as a single CD by Intrada!
I am getting a little frustrated with the term "LIMITED EDITION"! I guess the proof will be if the Kritzerland CDs do not sell out. But, they will! Everyone is going to want the newest remastered version!

Ironic, in that at least half a dozen times I recall, he always complained about other label's announcing the on the same day he was.

Just do not include the words "LIMITED" or "COLLECTOR'S EDITION".

I don´t get it...let Kritzerland release whatever they want, as long as they have the rights to release it. If a label will release more of a sold out CD, then let them...why care?If they release the same day as another label, I call it a dumb move as some people are forced to choose from which label they can afford to buy from, but then again, it´s like Roger says...it´s a game

If another label will release Spacecamp in a week, so what?? Intradas CD is OOP...
(and it is still a limited release from that label that had 3000 presses..ehh wrong 6000 presses )
This is the same rant that was about certain amount released of certain titles that sold out and I dont get whats the fuzz about...
Oh yeah...it´s about collectors that wants limited pressings that only a small amount of people will have the fortune to get...Its not about the music anymore?? Yes? No?
