This has been out for over 2 weeks and it is a unreleased Goldsmith (2000 copies pressed), why has this not sold out? Other Goldsmith have sold out in hours or days that were 3000 pressed copies! Could it be that it is mono? Could it be it is from a television show? Could it be the label? I have my copy, but I have not had time to listen to it until now. It is good Goldsmith, but I hear MASADA in a few of the cues, which does not come for a few more years. Did Goldsmith think since it was a television score, it wouldn't be released and he could get away with pulling a Horner? I will have to go back and listen to QBVII to compare it to TGUODL. As for the cover, you would have thought they could have done something different. This just looks like a cheap unmentionable. |
