How big a hand, if any, does he have in LLLR's EAE anyway? |

Well. I don’t post at LaLaLand's forum. And I’ve see Ford Thaxton posts here. And thought he may choose to give me an answer. I just need the information. ![]() |

None of the titles you listed are from Warner, so they won't be released in the Expanded Archival Collection from La-La Land. |

Then I hope they do the same as they did with The Edge (1997) (Fox) and Extreme Prejudice (1987). Just consider the expanded editions anyway. ![]() |

It happens a lot when expansions offer nothing more than sloppy bloat and repetition. These scores are made for film and TV, so getting all of it can easily make for a bad album as presented. There are good expansions, but there are also awful expansions. |

Bruce, you haven’t even heard the complete Wild Wild West. There is no bloat, there is little repetition. It’s actually got a TON of variety and flows just great. In fact it’s a MUCH more enjoyable listen than the original half hour album. Yavar |

I'm an Elmer Bernstein fanboy, so Wild Wild West is one expansion that I had to pounce on. There are some additional cues that I will love to use for my own album configuration, so it's at least better than those expansions which offer nothing new that is of interest. One thing I was never thrilled about with Wild Wild West is the sound of the actual recording. It sounds like it was recorded in a dank cave. |
