Has anyone ever tried sending audio (recorded off TV/VHS/dvd/radio/etc.) in an attempt to get them interested in releasing a certain score?

Were they okay with you doing so?

I'm thinking if I do I will get a tart letter from their attorneys ("The Law Offices of Garland, Minnelli and Gumm") lecturing me on copyright infringement.

I sent some links to season one episodes of "CHiPs" to Lukas asking if he'd give them a shot; didn't seem displeased with the idea. No idea if he ever got around to watching any of it.

Is it really that rare? Maybe there's a link to a YouTube video a label can watch.
