Over the years, I have bought and sold scores/soundtracks on eBay. I've had many problems. Can anyone point me to a more efficient organization?

Sorry, but if you work for eBay, you need to take a long, good look in the mirror.

I just stick with amazon. I set my price and if it sells it sells.

For large dumps, I use moviemusic.com I've only been got a quote from SAE once and it was rather low.

Overall, the retailers are paying much less for these things than they did a few years back. A lot of it just isn't worth what it used to be - probably cause theres so much more on the market.

Thanks, people asked over at the FSM message board, but no one would tell what they were offered before the thread was locked. I am glad you decided to hold onto them and you made the profit and not SAE. I do not understand sometimes about eBay how sometimes a CD will go for lets say $100 and there are 4 bidders who are all close to that $100, but the same CD will go for $30 a few hours after it (same title (even listed the same in the description), same condition, seller has similar feedback (percent and number of feedbacks). The only thing I have been able to come up with is who is setting at their computer at the time the auction ends. I have won quite a few this way, thinking I would be beaten in the last moment by one of those high bidders from the previous auction and I end up winning it! That is a $70 difference!! You would think at least one of the 3 runners up would be there, unless there is some shill bidding going on!

Was thinking of turning to SAE, just for the ease of one transaction. After hearing about their less than generous offers, I'm not so sure. Boy, this hobby used to be so much fun...

I am glad someone was able to post their experience trying to sell their used CDs to SAE. I figured the thread was locked on the FSM MB since they are the distributor of the FSM CDS and they didn't want to get anyone mad. When you see CDs like BODY HEAT (ORIGINAL) CD - John Barry for $174.95 or BOY WHO COULD FLY (EXPANDED) CD - Bruce Broughton for $169.95 on their website, it makes one wonder how much would they pay for my copy (I would never part with them)?
