You know, I've made some stupid or insensitive comments over the decade plus I've been posting, and witnesses some good ones, but I think your thread title "WIN"s any contest.

I've posted some really rotten things in the past that I've regretted but in this case it sounds to me like CC is a bitter ingrate for not receiving promo copies to review from Intrada. He sounds very childish in his attack and scores like Predator selling very quickly is not new and yes there have been complaints. I'll grant you this, he wouldn't be complaining if Scorpio sold out in like a day like it did 2 years ago in a long rant like this. The fact that it's Predator and a score that he clearly wanted, clearly makes this very bitter and sour. Roger has done a wonderful job doing the best he can in promoting the albums in the constrants he's limited to. He doesnt' have to give anyone clues or hints. He could be like Robert Townson at Varese and keep everything hush hush so we have a heart attack when it's something you want and can't afford it because there are other scores ahead of that or bills to pay (the latter being the most likely). He gives us more than he should and should be commended for it because he wants us to enjoy Intrada's new releases and sample them in case we'd want to buy them although we don't necessarily have to all the time. At least he's more open about things and like I said before that post on that website just simply sounds like the rant of a childish ingrate who's really missing the bigger picture in enjoying his new found fatherhood. Just because he didn't get Predator doesn't mean he can't enjoy a real miracle of life. Seriously that guy has crap in his eyes and should learn to focus on his site which to be honest i don't even go by his reviews because they're worthless and almost pointless even read especially if he's blasting a score that is better than one thinks.

I didn't mean for you to just copy and paste the link. What I was hoping for was that the person responsible for writing that post would have enough courage to come over here and post that same hate filled response so Roger and Doug could respond. I was also hoping that Christian would do the same without someone else having to copy and paste his comments.

Hey, yes, it can be really annoying to miss out on one of those limited releases you were really looking forward to, it has probably happened to most collectors at one time or another, it may even tempt you to cry out to the heavens: "You maniacs! You sold them all! Damn you. God damn you all to hell!".

But good heavens, let's keep a sake of proportion, let's keep a sense of good spirit. These days, you miss out on a terrific release now and then because there are so many and they sell so quickly. Years ago, these releases had a fat chance of even existing. I like these days better.

It's a bit extreme calling for Feigelson to be booted out the door just because someone missed out on a CD purchase. Smacked around a little bit might be fair payback but WTF.

Too bad the guys wife choose to have a baby at such an inconvenient time. Another good reason to avoid any and all social gatherings.
