Silva has just re-release TERMINATOR 2: THE JUDGEMENT DAY with re-mastered sound with liner notes by the composer. The content it’s the same on the Varèse album.
They just lose the chance to release an expanded definitive edition.

This was addressed at FSM when everyone jumped the gun. The reason it's not expanded is because they could not find the masters. Brad Fiedel didn't have any copies either. |

It always disappointed me that they never included the opening cue at the start of the main title theme on the album. I may buy this simply because I didn't care for the sound on the original album. It was a bit low if you ask me. |

That’s right! The open cue runs for only 33 seconds, but it’s a very impressive piece of music. Also the cue when the police Helicopter first arrive on Cyberdyne, among many other important passages not included in the original album. I also may buy this new release for the improved sound.
