What a pleasant and pleasing score this is.

John Barry: BODY HEAT (the excellent Joel McNeely recording)

Easily among my top 5 John Barry scores.

Have to give Johnny Cool another spin around the block.

Billy May is the fat daddy of big band hell raisers.

Another recording of his worth its weight in gold is, Billy May's Big Fat Brass.

Pino Donaggio: BODY DOUBLE

Along with DON'T LOOK KNOW my favorite Donaggio score, and the one I'd pick if I had to choose between the two.
It's got everything: bold and extended set pieces typical of Donaggio/De Palma collaborations, dense thriller cues, sleazy soft-core porn music that just never gets tiring, and over the top horror scoring for the vampire sequences. One of my favorite Intrada releases. Incidentally, this score is one of the few that got a (favorable) mentioning by Siskel and Ebert on their TV show.
