I must say that "Suspension" is one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!!!!!
The melody is sublime... the orchestration is just gorgeous, and yes... Kipp Lennon has an absolutely wonderful voice!!! The counterpoint in what I believe is the french horns during the fadeout, gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.
A BIG THANK YOU to Doug and everyone else who brought this beautiful song(And terrific CD!) into the Twenty-FIRST century!

And for the record... I didn't say it was THE most beautiful song I've ever heard(That designation would either go to Cat Stevens's "Morning Has Broken", Bread's "Everything I Own" or Harry Nilsson's "Without You"!), but it certainly IS ONE of the most beautiful, even if it WAS composed for Buck Rogers! :wink:

I thought so when I was younger - I could name a few others I prefer these days. (No criticism to Terry intended.)

Seriously this song is the single purest hit of nostalgia I own. I actually had a 45 of it when it came out. I'm very happy Intrada released it - I never imagined it would happen.

It's not a bad song for the era and I'm glad it's on the disc, which I eagerly bought a while back. The only thing I missed on the BR25C album was the TV series intro, which apparently is a whole 'nother ball of wax when it comes to licensing or something. Wasn't "Suspension" playing over the opening titles of the movie, what with Erin Gray and all? I've usually been distracted when the visuals start.

Too bad a full "Wilma's Theme" was never expanded from what was in "Wilma Saves Buck/What an Ending".
