I'm researching the score of that film for an article or two, but I can't quite seem to find a lot of behind the scenes information on the score. I've only found one interview for both Poltergeist and The Secret of Nimh. Any ideas if there are any more interviews with Goldsmith on Poltergeist?

Your best source is probably the CD liner notes, Rhino did a great job. I don't know of any other interviews or whatnot from that era. Jerry was somewhat notorious about wanting the music to speak for itself, rather than giving a ton of interviews.

FSM is releasing, later this year, a compelte 2CD of the score, so what you want to know will likely be in the linear notes of that release.
