Yeah!! Our shipment just arrived. If you're a Star Trek fan, you're gonna be in heaven. If you're a James Horner fan, you're gonna be in heaven. If you like cool artwork, you're gonna be in heaven. I haven't played it yet, of course, since it just arrived, so I'm not in heaven yet... just on cloud nine. --Doug |

....and, moments ago, FSM announced their 2CD of OUTLAND, and man it looks like another killer diller ![]() also, an expanded TOOTSIE(Grusin), which isn't my bag, but will make some folks happy - man, I hate that movie ![]() ![]() |

I've always considered STIII an better score than STII.... Stealing The Enterprise and Returning To Vulcan are superb pieces But wow!!! OUTLAND and STAR TREK III plus TOOTSIE. I love the irony in that Intrada is releasing MR. ATLAS at the same time, but don't worry guys, I plan to buy on Monday as I'd like some more Plumeri in my collection ![]() |

I'm so excited about Outland I don't think equipment exists to actually measure the level. I love that movie and that score so much. Hot Water is insanely great, one of the all time great action cues, I think, and I love the triumphant statement of the theme at the end. To have the original film tracks now is going to be so great. Now if only they'd redo the film on blu-ray...I think even the most recent DVD pressing is still zoom-up 4:3 widescreen, so I'm still using my Warner Beyond Vision VHS copy! Also going to finally add Logan's Run to the cart with this, and make it a Goldsmith sci-fi double bill. |
