Can anyone offer their feelings about this score, particularly how it plays on its own? Thanks! |

Funny topic as I listened to it again yesterday ! I saw the film in my little town theater, hated the very end of it (naive and useless)... BUT bought the score. I must add I don't like a vast majority of modern film scores (except Giacchino and Chris Young and some friendly composers still in the circuit: Williams, Silvestri, Horner, Doyle...). The CD plays as a beautifull, well built album (not a classic one but almost !). I love the way the music get a progression. I'm still hearing here and there a hommage to Bernard Herrmann. I really found it effective, both in the movie and on CD. That's pretty unusual nowadays so I really recommand the CD ! I hope it helped... |
