Okay; let me first say, I love this label, always have and always will. Roger, Doug and the gang have done incredible things for the world of film music. That will never be denied. Intrada has brought me a lot of happiness through the years, and since joining the boards, I've had fun, too. I purchase a lot of CDs here, and I always try to stay positive in interpreting people's opinions. However -- and I mean this in the most helpful and honest way possible -- Roger, your response really did come off as -- well, very uninviting (and perhaps accidental due to your reasonable frustrations, as it was referenced to earlier); it was uninviting to even the readers uninvolved in the topic at hand. You are, indeed, the professional, marketing director here, and even if the guy implied what you thought he did, I'm sure it could have been handled better than that -- even privately. I know the message boards have been on fire lately due to some "trolls," as people say, but some of us still come here for positive reinforcement about how vital the music is and how enjoyable these CDs can be, and threads like this just really disappoint me as a customer and as a fan, and I'm afraid it's going to serve as a reason to point people toward a new direction. I hate that, too, since I want to keep coming here, and really enjoy the (usual) comfortable atmosphere that isn't found at a place like FSM. But, between Doug's understandable frustrations lately, and certainly things like this, it's really starting to fall apart for the people who share Intrada's legacy and/or reputation as an enthusiastic label. It really has a negative vibe right now, and maybe that is some of the fans faults, maybe it isn't. No less, I want to know that these labels can still move forward with what they think is best. They are the producers, after all. The public negativity does nothing good for either party, though. Sorry, if I've shaken anyone into further anguish. It was not my intent.
