I just turned on the Weather Channel(HAH!), and during the local forecast, they were playing Williams' "To Thornfield" from Jane Eyre! Have any of you heard that, and what other "unusual" music have they played?

I usually hear the most horrible smooth jazz or nasty computer generated "music" on the weather channel. Every now and then a bit of Jurassic Park.

FOX News a couple or so years ago used the Enterprise B fanfare from "Star Trek: Generations" (Dennis McCarthy, 7th Trek film) as an outro. Their new-ish logo at the time with red and gold ... his music fit it SO WELL. They should hire him to compose original music for the channel -- he'd be their John Williams.
