It’s interesting that you should bring this score up. I recently got this score because I listened to the Best of the West CD that Ryko put out a few years ago. It was basically the Whose Cattle? cue that sold me on it. But until you mentioned it, I wouldn’t have thought of comparing it to Tombstone. The above mentioned cue sounds almost “Imperial†|

It's been years since I've seen Hour of the Gun (though it's a pretty good movie indeed... I'll never forget the opening walk to the O.K. Corral), but the cues from the movie I actually remember appear to be all there on the CD. But as I said, it's been a while. |

Wow, looks like I have to watch the movie again just to hear some of the music I've forgotten. What's on the CD already is definitely top notch Goldsmith, so I'm certainly up for more. Should anybody ever release a special edition Hour of the Gun, I will definitely want a copy. |
