I'd like to see an expanded release of Jerry's pseudo-Wagnerian classic score for First Knight. N'est-ce pas?
We know there's a lot of additional music because of that *unmentionable* that's been floating around for years.

Lukas Kendall just posted that he will be releasing a 2CD set later this year! It will contain better sound than the Rhino disc. It will also have the original LP edit AND some alternates ! I am so excited ! -Rick O. |

I don't recall Lukas saying exactly; he was just trying to spare people from blowing money on the re-issue, so he announced early. But I would assume (just speculatory), any day now -- that way from order to shipping, people can have it just right before Halloween. (sadly -- on a related Halloween note, this looks like another year without Sukman's "Salem's Lot") |

Considering what a sensational release the Rhino was (I still listen to it at least monthly), this new version must be mind blowing. I'll definitely invest! |

I posted a question on SEA's facebook page a week or two ago. Several days later, I got a reply from them saying "By Year's End." A little vague, but take from it what you will. I instantly thought "November/December-ish." |

POLTERGEIST is one of my all time favorite film scores. Incidentally, it was also the first Jerry Goldsmith LP I ever owned. I'm definitely up for this one. |
