Yeah, I liked THE PROMISE. It won't make my all-time best list but it'll get plenty of airtime, so to speak. I'm always big on a score when there's some shape or architecture to it. If the composer appears to have thought things through a bit, I'm willing to give him some applause. In all honesty, I can't always say this for film scores coming from Media Ventures. But this one does stand out. --Doug |

I listened to samples of Poledouris' score for "The Touch" at his sight and it's a shame some label hasnt' been able to get an official release widely available, even a limited edition. |
