Any truth to the rumor of a 15 CD Tiomkin set coming, including a 2CD Fall of the Roman Empire, 2CD 55 Days at Peking, 3CD Alamo, 2 CD Giant, 1CD Old Man and the Sea, 1CD Circus World and more?

That would be real cool, but I'm afraid of the price of such a set !

FSM has a thread where Lukas gives clues about an upcoming 15CD set. Maybe you've cracked it!

Aren't Roman Empire and Peking lost?

I think it's purported to be a Rozsa box, which is bad because....

Do I REALLY need more Rozsa? As much as I do love his stuff, once you have heard say 30 or so of his scores, you've kinda heard it all. He didn't really do the 'wacky ensemble' thing ala' Goldsmith, didn't start working in pop or popular modes, and sometimes Rozsa '40 is closely akin to Rozsa '79.
I know this is blasphemy to you guys who grew up with BEN HUR, but I didn't so I'm trying to offer a new perspective.....anyway, for my money his concert works BLOW AWAY most of his film scores - his 1st SYMPHONY is AMAZING and a must have for anyone who calls themselves a fan of the composer.

Is there ENOUGH unreleased stuff to make a 15 box set that is worth
having?

Is FSM going to put up some of that previously released stuff ala' Varese'
GOLDSMITH AT FOX box for some of this new set?

These questions will haunt me for the next few weeks, what say you?
