To celebrate an unremarkable occasion such as my birthday, The Daily Film Music Blog launches a competition with which you can win a CD of your choice from the available titles of Screen Archives (as long as its prize is within 20 dollars).
In order to collect the "fabulous prize", all you have to do is identify three pieces of film music excerpts. Hint: all three scores in question were discussed in the previous eight months of The Daily Film Music Blog. Send your answers to the e-mail address that's posted in the competition - the first person to get all three composers + titles wins the prize.
You can view the competition and listen to the excerpts here. You have two weeks to enter:

Nice website. By the way, in your description of Lee Holdridge:
Since than he has written music for all kinds of films, including comedy (Splash), cult camp adventures (Sheena), horror comedies (Transylvania 6-5000), westerns (Old Gringo), television events (East of Eden) and several important documentaries related to the subject of the Holocaust. Holdridge's music has been recently re-discovered by collectors thanks to wonreful releases and re-releases of his earlier works by labels such as Intrada or Buysoundtrax.
Just so you know...he didn't do SHEENA.
