I love Logan's Run. Unlike most of the movie's score, there are plenty of nice melodious passages, and the album flows very well, with great contributions from several composers. This made me want to play again, so I'm listening to it right now. To be sure, there are some suspenseful cues, but there are also more "pastoral" passages; no experimenting, as in the movie, no chopped montages (the TV score syndrome), a gentle treatment of the theme about 5 minutes into the first suite. When I first heard it, by the way, I found Stargate's theme shared a little something with the theme of Logan's Run, by the way. I've reached "Suite, Part 3", which is available , and find it pretty representative of the score. |

I would love to hear some of his music for TV-horrormovies such as How Awful About Allan, Satan´s School for Girls or Death at Love House, all from the 70s. Unfortunaly these are all productions from ABC and co., so a release is impossible. And the films are not well represented on DVD or shown on (German) television. BTW: The Miracle Worker is possibly one of the greatest scores of the 60s. |

BTW: The Miracle Worker is possibly one of the greatest scores of the 60s. I would have to whole-heartedly agree. |
