No fan of Maurice Jarre is going to let this slip by. I don't believe it's a bootleg. It's a very good score. |

Legality/morality be damned, I broke down and ordered this. Gorgeous score with everything that both rapturizes Maurice Jarre's fans and sends his detractors heading for the hills. Sounds damn' good to my ears too. Did Jarre do anything else with an "early music" vibe to it? I know he must have but "Jesus of Nazareth" is the only thing I can think of that comes close. Harkit's CD has James Fitzpatrick's name all over it so presumably it's a legitimate thing? Hope so. If packages like this are a sign of things to come from them as opposed to the, uh... shall we say "borderline" LP transfers of the past, bring 'em on. ![]() |
