I saw below Doug’s comment in the thread :” April 14th New Releases” http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 8&start=75 “Though it comes from a legendary composer with dozens and dozens of albums, the 3000 unit title has never been released in any format before. Not a suite, not a theme, not a note! That's one of the exciting things about it. The sound samples alone will probably be enough to get your blood racing. Every note's included, complete and in pristine stereo from magnificent vaulted studio masters. What a discovery! Given the history, 3000 may not be enough... but it's the max we can produce under the AFM and studio agreements. Trust me, it's one you'll probably want to consider getting. --Doug “ I do not understand why there will be a max amount copies with agreements of AFM, it is not decided by Intrada ? I am wondering , why we make some soundtracks limited , is it because we have to or something ? As some soundtracks are very huge one , why we can not just produce as much as we like , or as much as the market require ? So more people can own this soundtrack, but do not need to buy it in a higher price in ebay just because he missed to buy it on time . I am not complaining, I know there must be some reason, and I really enjoy the fun of collecting limited editions , it is really fun for collector . Would some guys tell me how a limited edtion soundtrack release ,what is the procedure ,I am really interested in this industry now . Appreciate ahead. Sometimes I feel some conflict between focus on the music itself and collecting, of course these years I bought many limited edition soundtracks , and enjoy the excitement of collecting, but some times do you guys feel , we just like to collect the products , e.g. the delicate and design of the cover , we even do not have time to listen to it . When there is a new limited release , I will not be hesitated to buy it , some soundtrack I just like the cover, and some are so limited , I feel I have to own it or I can not sleep or sit , I have addiction!! |
