Some of it sounds very good. And this is a surprising release as well. It it also nice to see Harry Sukman given some light to shine. He and Bernstein orchestrator Jack Hayes did an excellent score to a "Gunsmoke" two-parter. |

This is a wonderful release have only listened to the first Goldsmith disc and it is an essential buy. |

Wow! By rights, this ought to do very well indeed. I dumped all three discs on my iPod and love everything I've heard so far. Hard to believe TV execs actually insisted on cluttering up this music with images and audio of people talking. ![]() My favorite piece so far is the suite from "Good Luck Charm" by the unheralded Harry Sukman. Glorious finish! So, who's got "Barnaby Jones"? Any chance we'll see a release of that? ![]() |
