I just started watching Season 4 of 24 (yes, I'm a whole season behind). The main theme (I presume for Jack Bauer's character), which is more of a motif than a fully developed theme seemed awfully familiar to me. Then it struck me...it's very similar to Bruce Broughton's opening to SHADOW CONSPIRACY. Then the other day, I was playing Chris Young's dynamite HARD RAIN...and what do you know, his main theme to that is also very similar to 24. If anyone else has these albums, go compare and tell me I'm not crazey. The first track of each has what I'm talking about.
