Why don't they hire a staff? Why don't they let people, like folks at Intrada, who know what they are doing, work for a lower pay (for incentive on Paramount's part? Heck, maybe Doug or Roger would go pro bono just to get in there. I think Paramount was the one that someone told me (who is in the know) has their vault interrible condition; nearly everything unlabeled (so they don't know what's what or where it is -- and that's a lot of stuff!!!), in poor/deteriorating condition. So in order to find out what is what, you'd have to chance playing something that may not be able to be played a second time, or get ruined during it's play on a regular machine. Some scary shit. Heck, some pay and a trailer on the lot to live in, and I'd go threw the vault best I can. |

Movies and music are art...in that we all agree YES? Why not treat it like that then and preserve it right and have it taken care of?? I say it´s pure BS and Paramount are cheap bastards both in music and movies...See what they did to the Friday the 13th series First they released the movies inn barebones DVDs, then a special edition box set and now they´re at it again doubledipping for the third time and still not the movies uncut...I HATE THEM...and that´s that...The same goes for their ignorance in releasing their soundtracks...I hope that they trade VD in Paramount and someone who uses his head instead of his greed for only money...The music should be something that we could preserve for years instead of it rotting away for noone to use...let the composers sell their music then with a percentage to Paramount... "It´s like painting pictures for noone to see" Keep fighting to break the seal of the vault or call Ghostbusters or something (I know, wrong studio) |
