Douglass and or Roger are going to have to help me. There was a television show I believe in the 60's called East Side West Side starring George C. Scott and I think it was Diahann Carroll about social work in New York. If I remember correctly it was pretty good. I have no idea who did the music.

Twin Peaks
Damn fine series! Wonderful quirky characters, situations, atmosphere. I got the R1 release as soon as it was available, so I didn't get the pilot which was included in the R2 release, but I had it on video.
Season 2 is (again) scheduled for mid/late 2006, hopefully.

The X-Files
I haven't got all the sets yet; I couldn't even see several of the final season's episodes due to perpetually changing TV schedules.

Star Trek: The Next Generation
I still have not finished watching Season 7, but I love it all.

Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett)
An "old" R2 release of "Adventures". Great adaptations.

Tales from the Crypt
At long last! I have the first two and have started watched the second one.
I also have the anthology hardcover sets, but am missing the "Shock" titles.

The Twilight Zone
I'm sooo behind in my viewing I'm not even sure I have Season 3; I don't think so.

24
Loved it on TV. Season 2 was offered with my laptop, so then I had to buy Season 1 so that it would make sense. I haven't watched either yet.

Capitaine Flam / Captain Future
An animated series from my childhood. Loved it.

Albator / Captain Herlock / Captain Harlock ('78 & '84)
The spelling varies; the first title is the French one. I loved this as a child as well. Oddly enough, I remembered more scenes from Captain Future than from Harlock (even the '84 version). I have only had time to watch '78 and saw some episodes of '84 in re-runs a few years ago.
These were truly great. Good characters, and lots of humanity; honor, friendship, moral; these cartoons surely influenced me, even though I don't remember the stories that well.
I have also been buying the later / newer Harlock series-- kind of multiverse series; one is set in a sort of Old West.
There were some really excellent animated series in the late '70's - early '80's, including several adapted from literary works.
I'm not sure of the English title of one of these; a quest for the Incan "cities of gold".

Superman
The Fleischer Superman cartoons. Splendid art.

Disney Treasures
I buy all their volumes. "Swamp Fox" aired on TV years ago; I loved it, as well as "The Scarecrow"; "Gallagher" was a good one too.
Of course, I also pray they will finally soon release a nice edition of Zorro (in black & white, naturally). A R2 set was released, but I didn't buy it for some reason: no English version, or forced French subtitles, that sort of thing; I believe it's also the colorized version.

Now for my Wish List...

Columbo
Simply great. I must have these.

Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories
Were supposed to ahve been released last year or his first quarter, I don't remember; long overdue.

Alfred Hitchock Presents
As for The Twilight Zone and Tales From the Crypt, I have only seen a (very) few of these stories, so I have lots of things to discover, which is always nice.

Star Trek
I'll have to get all those other series sets. There is so much to buy!

Buffy, The Vampire Slayer
I liked it. Whedon did some nice fun things with Vampires & monsters; he also never took himself too seriously, without making a gross spoof comedy; he managed to tackle some graver subjects and avoid sopa opera sappiness. Really quite an achievement for a series supposedly targeted at "young adults".

Hercule Poirot (David Suchet)
Just as good as Brett's Holmes. There's also a Miss Marple series, but I can't remember the charming old lady's name.

Batman-- The Animated Series
And Superman-- The Animated Series. I saw a few episodes of each, and liked the stories, character treatment, and style.
I'd also like to have the '90's Spider-Man animated series.
The brand-new The Flash is pretty tempting too; I liked it a lot.
And Wonder Woman! And not just for the series: the lovely, divine Lynda Carter was the first woman I "fell in love" with. The series was fun, too, as far as I remember.

Hawaii Five-O
I might buy such a series of sets. I loved that show. Very good stories, that focused on the secondary characters, developed them nicely.

Lost
Will surely find its way onto my shelf once it's over.

Battlestar Galactica
I've never seen the original series. Now I've seen the new one's pilot, I can't wait to see the rest.

How odd. I seem to be the only person so far with a real TV collection...maybe it's because I don't watch shows on TV and most people with that option are content with their commercial-filled versions. :)

Guess I spoke too soon, Oliver. :)

By all means, let Disney BRING ON ZORRO! That's my number three most wanted after Brisco County and Jack Benny.

And let them do a widescreen DVD release of their excellent live action Robin Hood with Richard Todd as Robin and Peter Finch as the sherriff of Nottingham. I like it better than the Errol Flynn one...except for the score (which is still good).
