I just skimmed the twenty-odd PAGES of mostly bitching and moaning over on the FSM board about "Omega Man 2.0". Good GOD what a lot of babies!!! I remember the screeching a couple years ago when Doug asked the forum whether or not people would mind if he turned out another couple thousand "Inchon" sets so that people who missed out on the quickly sold-out expanded re-issue would have a chance but I don't remember it being this bad. By their tone those who are fiercely against the re-issue might be talking about genocidal war crimes. My admiration for anyone who's still willing to put out stuff for the limited soundtrack fancying market gets higher with every sh*tstorm such as this. Wow.
For myself, I was lucky enough to have acquired two copies of the original edition (my first got badly scratched) but I'm looking forward to hearing the organ overlay back where it belongs. The more often threads like that explode over on the FSM board the happier I am that they wouldn't let me in there!
