I was just listening to the sound clips of this new FSM release. I don't really know the score or the film, but I loved the opening moments of the Overture. When you're sitting at a race track and the cars go whizzing by, you get the doppler effect. Tell me this is not ingenious: Jarre has the brass doing the same thing, mimicking that doppler effect as the brass zoom by. Wow! I need to check out this film. |
