I love this song, too. The notes on the album presentation say that "the film mix featured the vocal slightly off to the left", whereas "the album mix [...] has Elaine Paige's vocal squarely in the center". It's my only regret: the song's audio quality is not as good as the rest (clearly a problem with the available material). |

Hey, I've noticed this too. The very first time I've played the CD I even thought my mobile phone was was ringing and leaking through my speakers, but I guess it looks like there were some problems with the song master. It's not that annoying as the song is presented again on CD 2. But I've never encountered that kind of audio problems. Nevertheless, the sound on the score proper really kicks ass now! such low end!

Yup, mine does it too. There is nothing wrong with your Cd. It's from the recording itself. |
