I only recognized three, so that means I ahve already lost, so I won't even bother entering. ![]() #17 sounded familiar, but I couldn't place my finger on it. Have no idea what the Bonus is. |

Post subject: | Final Tally and Clips' Identities |
Well, 36 hours are over and I didn't get any more PMs, so... Here are the identities of the clips. I honestly thought some would be clear immediately...a green x means that only the composer was guessed, a red x means complete identification. #1 Evolution (J. Powell, 2001): "The Mall Chase" x #2 Jason and the Argonauts (B. Herrmann, 1963): "Jason Prelude" x #3 The Magnificent Seven (E. Bernstein, 1960): "Strange Funeral/After the Brawl" xxx #4 Thirteen Days (T. Jones, 2000): "Death of Major Anderson" #5 Braveheart (J. Horner, 1995): "Mornay's Dream" xx #6 Addicted to Love (R. Portman, 1997): "Fight" #7 Fateless (E. Morricone, 2005): "Return to Life" x #8 Henry V (P. Doyle, 1989): "St. Crispin's Day/The Battle of Agincourt" xxx #9 Lawrence of Arabia (M. Jarre, 1962): "First Entrance To The Desert/Night And Stars/Lawrence And Tafas" xxx #10 Sister Act (M. Shaiman, 1992): "Nuns to the Rescue" x #11 Under Fire (J. Goldsmith, 1983): "Rafael's Theme" xxx #12 Nobody's Fool (H. Shore, 1994): "Would You Like a Cup of Tea?" xx #13 seaQuest DSV (J. Debney, 1993): "To Adventures Bold" xx #14 Aladdin (A. Menken, 1992): "Marketplace" #15 Carlito's Way (P. Doyle, 1993): "Grand Central" xx #16 Spirited Away (J. Hisaishi, 2002): "The Sixth Station" xx #17 The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Vol. 1: Verdun 1916 (J. McNeely, 1992): "Aerial Pursuit" #18 Gods and Generals (J. Frizzell, 2003): "To the Stone Wall" x #19 The Power of One (H. Zimmer, 1992): "Of Death and Dying" xx #20 The Quiet Man (V. Young, 1952): "St. Patrick's Day" Bonus: Revolution (J. Corigliano, 1985): "Track 5" x Four people sent their guesses in; a correct guess is worth 1 point: Squiddybop: 21 pts. GoblinScore / Lokutus: 16 pts. Dorian: 2 pts. Many thanks for playing, guys. I might come up with another contest, if I've got time. ![]() Ta & tata, Christian |

I had a feeling the bonus would turn out to be Revolution based on what GoblinScore wrote, and it had even occured to me to pull out McNeely's Young Indy scores to hunt for #17, but I got lazy. Still, I think I did okay, even if I second-guessed myself into a couple wrong answers. I've actually got a partially assembled mystery clip game I never got around to posting anywhere. Maybe I should finish it sometime. |
