Yes, very late to the party and adding my two cents:
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE - Fun score by Bill Conti, not at all a good film.
THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT - An embarassingly-poorly put-together film, in spite of the incredible talent behind the camera (John DeCuir, Fred Koenekamp, Irene Sharaff). Michel Legrand, a composer I generally pay scant attention to, seems to have re-recorded his score for the LP. It is what I call my most guilty pleasure, this LP: all lush romance, like, say, a Barbara Cartland or Sidney Sheldon novel made into music. :0)
SATURN 3 - This seems to be Elmer Bernstein's only real space opera, unless you count HEAVY METAL. Some beautiful stuff in the grand "60+ piece orchestra roaring away in space" style, plus some weird things, some aleatory, even (he said this in an interview I read). I wasn't much interested in the plot of the film, really, as I recall, and seeing Kirk Douglas' bare butt just didn't do me any good.
