This has been a seriously good haul.
And before anybody rimps me limb from limb because I like stuff like King Arthur better than a classic score like Poltergeist...my ratings to a large part reflect how much (listening) enjoyment a score offers me, how often I go "Yeah, that's awesome!", how often my eyes well up, and how often that tingling feeling of a scoregasm creeps down my spine. It's often not a comment on the actual quality of a score, because in this regard, Poltergeist is like a mile above King Arthur. Also, many of the ratings are preliminary, as sometimes I need to listen to a score multiple times to "get it"; time wouldn't allow more than one listen.
Christian
PS: Herewith I'd like to acknowledge and thank all those decent folks who helped me acquiring these CDs. It would be much more simple if I just moved to the US, but I don't see that happening anytime soon!
