| Post subject: | Should JG's Warlock be re-issued? |
As it is now out OOP I wonder whether a re-issue of Warlock is worth while. I seem to remember JG removed some of the electronic elements from the score for the album. Perhaps we could have a combination of the original plus the alternates on a new release?

I've always liked that particular score, but felt the movie was only so-so, to say the least. But the recording done in Australia is very odd indeed. The whole orchestra sounds like it was recorded inside a shoebox. What really happened down in Australia to get such an odd sound ? But a nice score nonetheless. Here's hoping it gets rereleased some day for those who weren't there in the first place. |

If there are unreleased cues and some overdubs left off the original release, then a remastered edition would be most welcome. But, I wonder if the new rematsered WARLOCK would be done by Intrada or someone else. |
