A long-time and shamefully non-nominated personal favorite. Miller's Crossing, Being John Malkovich, and his peerless adaptation work for The Hudsucker Proxy are all just spectacular. |

Fargo is probably my favorite score of his. He tends to be very repetitive for me to follow him more closely. I also liked finale of Conspiracy Theory (although I couldn't stand the rest) and What planet are you from? (available as an isolated score on the DVD)... I loved the film as well... kind of a guilty pleasure

I have to chime in on this one, because I really loved his score in "the Jackal". I have wanted to see this released since I first saw the movie and had the music stuck in my head for days at a time. Just as an FYI to anyone that is interested, he actually has a few "sample" tracks from that movie as MP3s on his . I hope it is ok to post that link, given that it is the actual composer that is providing those tracks. |
