Not too off topic, but I remember walking into TOWER RECORDS shortly after PREDATOR was released and seeing a title card for the score in their soundtrack section, which was empty... and stayed that way for months until they eventually pulled the card. I was going insane, thinking for about a year that I must have missed the chance to buy the release and that they had merely sold out of the title, which is what I was told by one of their employees. This was well before the internet and access to more reliable information was available, but... there was this little known retail outlet in San Francisco that would prove to be a source of relief. One call to INTRADA in early 1988 and Doug Fake easily put me out of my misery and a perplexing sense of confusion was lifted, only to be filled by a long last feeling of sadness that would linger until it was finally released, more than a decade later (and I STILL missed out on getting one... "THIS TITLE IS NOW SOLD OUT." Can you frick'n believe that?.)
