There are lots of now out-of-print soundtracks worthy of re-release but economics just don't always warrant re-doing them. We had this one in our catalog for many years. Prior to the license reverting back to Disney we issued a re-mastered edition and it was available for some time as well. At this time negotiations for yet another release through Disney would be made in vain. Hopefully things will change someday but currently Disney has restricted their policy of working with labels outside of their own. So another re-issue is just currently unlikely.

i have both editions and it is one of my most liked goldsmith work, what a fine score and the final flight sequence must be one of the best things ever written for film, i hope i gets a rerelease some day, such beautiful music must be always available for generations

I also must say that it's one of my favorite Goldsmith work. I'm very fond of flight sequences.

Then the Goldsmith "SPECIAL TRIBUTE QUADRILOGY" will finally be complete!
