Don't we? Caroline Munro is indeed one perfectly valid reason to watch The Spy who Loved Me over and over again. She would have been a better Bond girl than Barbara Bach, IMHO. And need I mention the (in)famous Maniac by William Lustig? Aaah, the Horror...

This is a great release. If the package is as good as last year's LIFEFORCE, it ought to be Aces. I love this score and it's from an excellent little movie! Other issues aside, let's give the devil it's due. I can't wait to get my hands on this one.

At Amazon UK there is a pre-order possible for Hammer Horror Vol.1, that large collection of various music for the films which is goes for a nasty price in some places. Does that mean Hammer recordings are being reissued? I hope it does. The recordings sound excellent in monophonic, that clean, crisp, pure pinpoint source, with a shade of reverberation added which is stereophonic. I have Randall Larson's book to assist my adventure. |

Last I heard was when Ford posted on FSM's board last week that they were waiting to get the signed booklets back from the UK. He estimated that should happen early this week - but with the U.S. Mail the way it is, who knows? Give 'em time. This is worth waiting for.
