They're pairing Elmer Bernstein's "The Bridge at Remagen" (long thought lost - thank God Elmer was a packrat!) with Maurice Jarre's "The Train"! The description says: "The Train portion of this CD features the (electronic) stereo album master...." Anybody know what that means? I don't believe I've ever heard of an electronic stereo album master when the score's all acoustic. Ain't it GREAT to be buried in all this great stuff that's coming out lately? ![]() |

Most likely, it means the "stereo" was produced electronically, through filtering of some sort, rather than true stereo, which is the result of multi-track recording at the original music recording sessions. Mark T. |

NOW go look what FSM's got! I've never heard of either film but western scores by Kaper and Previn?? No brainer here. ![]() We're DROWNING in ass-kickin' score releases! Ain't it great? |
