I have been there and am still in awe of that whole program and the experiences i have made and shared with fellow fans.
For example, at the first signing sessions, Alan came earlier than expected with the score sheets for the concert under his arm. He sat down, put glasses on, took a pencil and started making adjustments. A miraculous moment to see your favourite composer doing just what he can do best.
Beowulf was simply the crown jewel of a really amazing silvestri concert. I was sitting fifth row very close to the podium and it was just thrilling to have your favourite composer in front of you conducting your favourite scores and even giving a teaser of what he has coming up.
