I noticed that in Laurence Rosenthal's home city, the library has a good-sized number of his recordings in their collection. I learned that someone who is either known to or related to Rosenthal is connected with the library as well. So it struck me as a little odd that in that same city, which is home to Intrada as well, the library has none of their titles in their collection (in my recollection of browsing it, anyway). Any Intradas in your home city's libraries? |

Here in Ottawa, one of the local branches has a copy of The Wind and the Lion. That's it for Intrada discs. |

My library has only two film music cds. "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (the original, shorter album) and "The Wizard of Oz". However, they have over 500 cds of various types of world music, gobs of jazz albums, a decent chunk of classical stuff, and a huge collection of big band music. Go figure. Back at ya later |

My library has nothing other than items like Sound of Music types. The classical section seems to have a nice selection of Naxos items but none in the film series. |
