| Post subject: | KLUTE by Michael Small what about this Harkit cd? |
I discovered recently that the cd that Harkit released with the Michael Small music from KLUTE is vanished from every store... What happened with this great release? I heard rumours that the cd was withdrawn. The only other Harkit release that is also very hard to find is BEDAZZLED. |

It has probably gone out of print, after being available for a few years. FSM has continually stated that they're interested in eventually releasing a better quality version of the soundtrack, that is presumably not taken from the LP source. I've enjoyed the Harkit release and look forward to a superior sounding one in the future. |

The soundtrack Klute, was pulled not long after it's release. It probably has something to do with legal issues, although I can't confirm this for sure, but the fact that it has been withdrawn so quickly, suggests some like of that nature. There's still a copy for sale on the footlight online store, for an amazing $74.50, have a look here.

A bootleg, according to Lukas (FilmScoreMonthly) despite that some of their new titles are legal. Also, Lukas hinted that that title was within hte possibility of a future release from FSM. Possibly. |
