| Post subject: | Michael Small--what to do? |
Not much out there for Michael Small fans. I recently rented The Endurance (excellent by the way) and was very impressed by his score. Mountains Of The Moon is great, along with Mobsters, Wagons East, Consenting Adults. Don't have Klute, but I remember the score is great as well. Can we expect to see (hear) any NEW Michael Small scores soon?

I watched the OK, but very silly, reincarnation thriller Audrey Rose recently which had a score by Michael Small. It had a few interesting creepy moments, and some very subtle ones too which he seemed to specialise in - extremely well-crafted, often unsettling, music which doesn't draw attention to itself, which instead seems to work more on a subliminal level. |

Well...for some reason I had it in my mind that the original video (VHS) version of this was on MGM Home Video. But looking at imdb.com I see this: Production Companies CIP Filmproduktion GmbH Lorimar Film Entertainment Northstar International Distributors Lorimar Home VÃdeo (Brazil) (VHS) Paramount Pictures Warner Home VÃdeo (Brazil) (DVD) So I guess it could still happen if the rights belong to Lorimar.
