Just got my "Spellbound " CD from Intrada and it blew me away. No wonder Rozsas son Nick was so pleased and thought it wonderful in every way. Congratulations to all concerned. This is a fantastic addition to the great EXcalibur collection. The presentation, orchestral performance and recorded sound is world class. The conducting talent of Allan Willson has perfectly captured the unique Rozsa sound . I could not be more pleased . Thank you. |

Yeah, GOOD STUFF! Intrada keeps going from strength to strength lately. ![]() I played it really loud the night I got it - but the neighbors didn't complain seeing how just before I had been playing "Devil's Brigade" really loud which kinda freaked 'em out. I've never heard brass sound like that. Gave me the shivers! In a good way, of course. |

Yes, of course Scoreman is right; this is such a fine addition to the Excalibur Collection, and now to hear the results of those sessions last November fully lives up to all expectations. To have all those extra tracks never before heard, and in such fine sound, makes this one of the most important Rozsa discs ever to appear, in my opinion. Anyone still in doubt really shouldn't hesitate. They won't be disappointed. |

The voting choice for re-recording of the year is going to be tough!! Spellbound is wonderful but so was Private Life of Sherlock Holmes and we have Sea Hawk coming. Yikes. Tom |
